Each session will be filled with challenging exercises that will maximize your results, energize you and keep you on track. Our staff will guide you through effective cardio and resistance training programs. In addition we will show you how you can lose weight by eating healthy. No more crazy crash diets. We offer metabolic testing to help you determine the calories you need to consume to maximize your fat loss and minimize loss of good muscle. (Important: if you have Type I or II diabetes or any other serious medical condition like heart disease or hypertension, you should consult with your doctor BEFORE starting any exercise or diet program) We will work closely with your doctor to help you improve you overall health. Individuals who have diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol should consult with a Registered Dietician before following any diet program.) Fitness Together – Natomas will work with registered dieticians, medical experts, and specialists in the area to ensure that you will get the quality fitness program you need. CORE TRAINING / STRENGTHEN YOUR BACK Do you suffer from neck and low back pain? Well you are not alone. Four out of Five adults experience symptoms of low back pain at some point in their lives. Low back pain sufferers have increased over the years our sedentary lifestyle. Weak core muscles, decrease in blood flow to the back and lower extremities, compression of the vertebrae due to extended hours of sitting, can lead to low back stiffness, pain and possibly herniated discs. When dealing with low back aches and pains, Fitness Together – Natomas recommends you first see a doctor! Once you have been cleared (we can help with that too) by your doctor to begin an exercise program, we strongly suggest you hire a qualified certified personal trainer to guide you through an exercise program that will be safe and help improve your core muscles that support the spinal column. Performing several crunches a day will not target all the muscles that stabilize the spine such as the transverse abdominus, External Obliques, Internal Obliques, and Erector muscles of the back. SPORTS CONDITIONING THROUGH FUNCTIONAL TRAINING Improve your skills through our sports conditioning, functional training programs. Do you enjoy baseball, football, basketball, golfing, tennis, etc…? Fitness Together-Natomas has sports conditioning programs based on functional training fitness principals that are guaranteed to improve your performance in all sports. POST REHAB TRAINING If you’re recovering from an injury, surgery, or other medical condition, and have been cleared by your doctor and/or physical therapist to start a fitness program, it is important that you have a qualified personal trainer to design and guide you through a safe and appropriate program that will help you improve your strength and overall fitness. Fitness Together – Natomas has post rehab training programs that move you through exercise progressions based on your individual needs and capabilities. We can work closely with your doctor or physical therapist ensuring that you get the attention you need to fully recover and return to normal activities as soon as possible. We take over after your physical therapist or doctor has released and recommended that you continue exercising with a qualified professional. Post rehab clients need focused attention because they have to exercise to continue to improve. One-on-one attention from a qualified professional is the right choice. We also work with individuals who suffer from, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Diabetes, Hypertension, to name just a few.
